| Alverstoke has it’s
own ‘crooner’ who has been wooing audiences across the
Country.
Vince Hall from Anglesey
Arms Road started singing when running a disco with his Brother
Stuart at the Rose Bowl, home of Hampshire cricket in Southampton.
The FBI Disco who operate on the South coast were providing the
music at a Christmas party in the Hampshire suite of the Rose Bowl
last December when Stuart suggested that Vince get up and sing a
Sinatra song.

Vince duly obliged, and ended up
singing three or four songs at the request of the clients. Little
did Vince know that in the audience was an agent who immediately
approached him and offered him immediate work, the rest is history
as they say. Now just seven months later Vince has performed at
the Thorngate Halls, HMS Sultan Wardroom Summer ball in front of
over 500 guests, various hotels on the South Coast, Warwickshire,
Salisbury, West Midlands, Yorkshire, Plymouth and Dorset to name
a few. Vince has become extremely popular at weddings and to date
he has sang at no fewer that ten!
Vince enjoys singing
Sinatra songs, but does not impersonate the great man. He delivers
the songs in his own style, which is proving to be a huge success.
When asked of his secret of success, Vince puts it down to singing
his own style and not trying to impersonate Sinatra. There will
never be another Sinatra and once you try to imitate him then people
compare you with him, and that’s a fatal mistake! Vince is
available for bookings locally and you can find details on how to
contact him via his disco website:
